Abstract
► We develop a new kinetic model to describe the naphtha steam catalytic cracking. ► Rate constants and model parameters estimated with the method and experimental data. ► Decreasing residence time favors the production of light olefins. ► Higher the reaction temperature, the bigger the maximum of total light olefins. ► Results show that there is a good agreement between new model and experimental data.
