Abstract
⺠Ash gasification for adsorptive properties development was investigated. ⺠Steam gasification resulted slightly faster than CO2 gasification. ⺠Both gasification treatments were able to increase the ash porosity. ⺠A competition porosity development versus thermal sintering effects was observed. ⺠Gasification ended up in a particle size decrease with respect to the raw ash.
