Abstract
- Two-compartment proton exchange membrane microbial fuel cell (PEM MFC) was used.
- Bioelectricity was produced from PEM MFC combined with ethanol stillage treatment.
- Graphite rods, granular activated carbon and carbon fibers were used as electrode.
- Electrode distance, surface area ratio and external resistor affected power density.
- Lignin mediator enhanced hydrogen production and power density of MFC.
