Abstract
⺠Interaction of diesel particulate filter catalysts and biodiesel ash species. ⺠Catalytic conversion of soot in diesel particulate filters. ⺠Commercial catalyst (5:1 wt. ratio) decreased soot oxidation temperature. ⺠Biodiesel ash species (Na2CO3, K2CO3 or K3PO4) further decreased soot oxidation temperature. ⺠Engine oil ash species (CaSO4, Ca(H2PO4)2 and K2SO4) increased soot oxidation temperature.
