Abstract
► We determine experimentally the laminar flame speed for butanol/isooctane blends at different equivalence ratio. ► The effect of initial pressure was studied. ► We compare all data with the case of ethanol/isooctane blend. ► Markstein length was also estimated to evaluate the stability of flame.
