Abstract
⺠Syngas is derived from a pilot-scale biomass gasifier using oxygen and steam. ⺠NOx emissions from the burner are characterized for different operating conditions. ⺠NH3 and NOx increase for oxygen-and-steam gasification conditions. ⺠The increase in NH3 and NOx is correlated with the high nitrogen content in biomass.
