Abstract
► A microfluidic device is used to study the coalescence kinetics in flowing emulsions. ► The method enables to directly measure the coalescence time. ► Three mineral oils and five silicone oils were investigated. ► Relations for the coalescence time as function of fluid and flow parameters are given.
