Abstract
⺠Solvent effects on DBT HDS were analyzed. ⺠Activity classification of catalysts depends on reaction conditions and solvent choice. ⺠Rate and selectivity are affected by solvent evaporation. ⺠DBT and solvent compete for active sites. ⺠Intrinsic catalyst activity is not modified by evaporation or solvent.
