Abstract
⺠A combustion model of char particle with Stefan flow and CO oxidation is presented. ⺠The model gives better predictions for the temperature and burnout of char. ⺠Effect of Stefan flow and CO oxidation is related to the combustion state of char. ⺠Notable effects on the burnout time occur in kinetic-diffusion controlled region. ⺠Effects on the burnout time are smaller in the diffusion-controlled combustion.
