Abstract
⺠Hydrous ethanol with high water contents up to 40% by volume can be used in a small SI engine for generator. ⺠Increasing the water content of ethanol decreased the overall efficiency and NOx emission, while other emissions increased. ⺠A catalytic converter is required to reduce the regulated emissions to meet EPA limit.
