Abstract
⺠We implement two NOx models in a phenomenological diesel engine model. ⺠Diesel engine model provides good predictions of cylinder pressure and heat release. ⺠Mellor NOx model performs well for range of conditions with standard calibration. ⺠The Zeldovich NOx model requires constant recalibration for good predictions. ⺠Mellor NOx model performs better than the Zeldovich model for present applications.
