Abstract
- A precursor for deep hydrodesulfurization catalyst with the formula of porous ammonium nickel molybdate was synthesized.
- The precursors and catalysts with various Ni/Mo ratios were characterized and evaluated by the HDS of FCC gas oil.
- The activities of unsupported NiMo catalysts were much higher than that of conventional NiMo/Al2O3.
- The catalysts derived from ammonium nickel molybdate showed higher activity than that obtained from amorphous precursor.
