Abstract
⺠Examined kukersite kerogen structure using solvent swelling in binary mixtures. ⺠Established that specific kerogen-solvent interactions play a role in swelling. ⺠High swellabilitiy with mixed solvents over a broad range of solubility parameters. ⺠Electron donor strength plays a key role in determining extent of swelling.
