Abstract
⺠Ductile metal encapsulation of coal samples allows for measuring CO2 uptake. ⺠No swelling corrections and Equation of State at high pressure needed. ⺠Comparison with manometric data showed reasonable agreement. ⺠Capsule and manometric method sensitive to errors in different pressure regimes. ⺠Remaining errors only significant if smaller than the direct effect of in situ stress on sorption.
