Abstract
⺠The addition of La2O3 to NiSi favors the formation of gaseous H2 and CO2. ⺠The C formation during the reaction is diminished with La2O3 on the support. ⺠Ni10LaSi was the catalyst that achieved the best conversion of glycerol. ⺠Ni10LaSi suffered a higher rate of formation of C than Ni30LaSi. ⺠Ni30LaSi can be considered a promising system for the glycerol steam reforming.
