Abstract
⺠The low strain rate extinction is affected by behaviors of the outer edge flame. ⺠The radial conductive heat loss is the main mechanism for low strain rate extinction. ⺠Reducing burner diameter can extend a shrinking-extinction to higher strain rate flame.
