Abstract
⺠The effect of heating rate on the thermal decomposition of RDX was studied. ⺠The Ea for the decomposition of each sample was calculated by Kissinger and Ozawa methods. ⺠The critical temperature of thermal explosion of the compound was calculated. ⺠The influence of particle size on the thermal decomposition was verified. ⺠The values of ÎS#, ÎH# and ÎG# of decomposition reaction for each particle size were also computed.
