Abstract
⺠CSP methodology is employed to analyze ethanol oxidation at high pressure (4-6 MPa). ⺠Families of simplified mechanisms are developed for different oxidation conditions. ⺠The results are very accurate with respect to those of the detailed mechanism. ⺠The most simplified mechanisms are obtained by considering lean mixtures. ⺠The main reaction pathways are clearly identified.
