Abstract
► CSP methodology is employed to analyze ethanol oxidation at high pressure (4-6 MPa). ► Families of simplified mechanisms are developed for different oxidation conditions. ► The results are very accurate with respect to those of the detailed mechanism. ► The most simplified mechanisms are obtained by considering lean mixtures. ► The main reaction pathways are clearly identified.
