Abstract
												- A start-up strategy of total stoichiometric air-fuel ratio and local richer mixture was proposed for a TDSI engine.
- To present the effect of operating conditions on first-cycle combustion and emissions during cold start for a TDSI engine.
- The appropriate 2nd fuel injection amount is favorable to improving the first cycle firing performance.
