Abstract
- SMD was nearly independent of viscosity and pressure at small axial distances.
- SMD increased with increase of viscosity at high pressures and large axial distances.
- A high viscosity of 120 mPa s changed Volume-based Droplet Size Distribution markedly.
- The decay of droplet velocities along the axis was stronger at a larger viscosity.
- A larger viscosity made radial distributions of both SMD and velocities flatter.
