Abstract
⺠The impact of Euro3/Euro4 diesel fuels on the unregulated emissions of a passenger car are examined. ⺠Fuel has a significant impact on exhaust emissions. ⺠Euro4 fuel has lower emissions than the Euro3 in the case of NO/N2O/aromatic carbonyl compounds/PAH. ⺠Euro4 fuel has higher emissions of NO2, NH3, aromatic/unsaturated HC, carbonyls compared to Euro3. ⺠Exhaust total HC/carbonyls, CH4/HCHO and ethylene/acetaldehyde have a good linear correlation.
