Abstract
												- A range of potential fermentation products were esterified with ethanol or n-butanol.

- The products were assessed as replacements for aviation kerosene, petrol or diesel.
- Butyl butyrate is a promising candidate to blend with aviation kerosene.
- Dibutyl esters were promising blending agents for diesel type applications.
