Abstract
- We obtained the Bacillus sp. Y7 strain from weathered lignite minerals.
- Y7 could solubilize more than 36.77% of untreated Chinese lignite in 12Â days.
- Thermostable, protein-like alkaline materials were important for solubilization.
- The main functional groups involved in lignite solubilization were νNH, νCO and δNH.
- The structure of the biosolubilization product bHA was similar to HA.
