Abstract
⺠Trace components in black liquor derived synthesis gas was characterized. ⺠The synthesis gas contained benzene with average concentration of 158 ppm. ⺠A few ppm of C2-hydrocarbons was observed in the synthesis gas. ⺠Pyrene, phenanthrene and a few other tars were found in small deposits. ⺠The particle concentration in the synthesis gas was very low (0.1 ppm).
