Abstract
- Flame front velocities were calculated for different ignition locations and fuels.
- Non-linear velocity/acceleration was found for flame edges when ignited downstream.
- The fuel velocity and Re had a large effect on the observed flame velocities.
- The type of fuel affected the velocities and accelerations of the flame front.
- Delays of downwards propagation were observed when ignited at the plate.
