Abstract
⺠We examine the combustion performance of H2/CO syngas diluted by N2, CO2 and steam. ⺠40% Dilution of N2, CO2, and steam reduces NOx by 79%, 88%, and 95% respectively. ⺠NOx reduction per unit power is logarithmically related to diluent's heat capacity. ⺠CO below 10 ppm is emitted except one case: low load (30kW) with steam dilution. ⺠Neither combustion instability nor flash-back is occurred in all tested condition.
