Abstract
► A 115-species skeletal mechanism for biodiesel with low-T chemistry was developed. ► Substantial reduction was achieved by improved DRGASA. ► The skeletal mechanism was well validated against the detailed model. ► The skeletal mechanism well predicted various experimental conditions. ► The skeletal mechanism is suitable for 3-D engine simulations with biodiesel fuels.
