Abstract
⺠Semi-technical underground coal gasification using the shaft method was performed. ⺠Over a period of 15 days, approximately 22 tonnes of hard coal were gasified. ⺠The average heating value of product gas was 3.8 MJ/N m3. ⺠The average H2 and CO contents in the product gas were 14.2 vol.% and 13.4 vol.%, respectively. ⺠The thermal efficiency of the process was approximately 56%.
