Abstract
⺠A new concept of volumetric combustion technology was proposed. ⺠Wood pellets combustion in high temperature oxidizer were investigated. ⺠Aspen model was used to describe and studied volumetric combustion system. ⺠Two application concepts of volumetric combustion were discussed. ⺠Volumetric combustion would be a useful biomass combustion technology with high boiler efficiency, and lower NOx emission.
