Abstract
⺠Copper and brass are prone to be corroded in biodiesel. ⺠Corrosion rate significantly decreases at higher temperature in the absence of oxygen. ⺠High temperature and light favors degradation in biodiesel fuel. ⺠Light absence at room temperature is the most suitable condition for biodiesel storage. ⺠Metallic ions accelerate the oxidation reactions of biodiesel.
