Abstract
⺠Wood pyrolysis was characterized in a drop tube reactor at temperatures above 1000 °C. ⺠Different temperatures and particle sizes were tested. ⺠No particle effect was observed during the experiments. ⺠High temperatures favor hydrocarbon destruction and soot formation. ⺠Char and soot suffer from some changes with a temperature increase.
