Abstract
⺠Batch combustion of fixed beds of neat coal emitted more CO2 than those of bagasse. ⺠Batch combustion of fixed beds of neat coal emitted less CO and PAHs than bagasse. ⺠Batch combustion of fixed beds of neat coal emitted more particulates than bagasse. ⺠Batch combustion coal/bagasse blends emitted less CO and PAHs than either neat fuel. ⺠The presence of the secondary furnace (afterburner) decreased PAH emissions.
