Abstract
⺠Choice and proportions of surrogate compounds are keys for actual fuel emulation. ⺠A methodology for gasoline surrogate building based on simple properties is proposed. ⺠Engine results prove the adequacy of this methodology. ⺠Surrogate experimentally recovers combustion progress and pollutant emissions. ⺠Gasoline emulation with surrogate in a 3D CFD code allows reproducing experiment.
