Abstract
⺠Higher injection rate in Diesel than gasoline fuel. ⺠Lower gasoline viscosity implies a faster opening and specially a faster injector closing. ⺠The results show not clear differences between diesel and gasoline for momentum flux. ⺠Similar spray penetration for both fuels independently of the nozzle diameter. ⺠A correlation for spray penetration is presented both for gasoline and diesel fuel.
