Abstract
⺠A novel low-dimensional simulation approach is developed to study homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) combustion. ⺠Different strategies are investigated with combinations of injection timings with hydrogen fuel. ⺠A combination of volumetric autoignition and localized high-temperature burning are found to occur.
