Abstract
⺠Transesterification of rapeseed oil under homogeneous catalyst - potassium hydroxide. ⺠The reaction mixture was neutralized by excess of gas carbon dioxide. ⺠Potassium hydrogencarbonate and carbonate (transesterification catalyst) are formed from KOH. ⺠Acid number of biodiesel is always less than 0.2 mg KOH/g. ⺠The correlation between methanol concentration in the EP and its flash point.
