Abstract
⺠Acid-catalysed reactions between methanol and bark bio-oil were investigated. ⺠Our focus was the behaviour of fatty acids, esters, furans and sugars in the bark bio-oil. ⺠Many reactive species in the bio-oil can be stabilised by reacting with methanol.
