Abstract
⺠Renewable, high-density fuels are synthesized from terpenes. ⺠Heterogeneous catalysts can be recycled several times without loss of activity. ⺠The properties of complex pinene dimer mixtures are heavily influenced by camphene. ⺠Alpha-pinene and camphene are synergistic partners in terpene dimerization. ⺠Ultra-performance fuels can be synthesized from crude turpentine.
