Abstract
⺠Laminar flame speeds and extinction limits of aromatic hydrocarbon fuels were obtained. ⺠The effects of different alkyl substitutions on the benzene ring were assessed. ⺠Experimental results were compared to computations using detailed kinetic models. ⺠Sensitivity and flux analyses were performed to identify the controlling chemistry.
