Abstract
⺠Sorption capacity of 23 coals for different gases were compared. ⺠Methane/nitrogen ratio for sorption capacity was constant for all coals. ⺠The CO2/CH4 sorption capacity ratio decreased with increasing rank. ⺠The ethane/CH4 sorption capacity ratio also decreased with increasing rank.
