Abstract
⺠Study of the impact of hydrous ethanol blends on Flex-Fuel engine performance. ⺠FTIR used for unburned ethanol and aldehyde measurements. ⺠Aldehydes and unburned ethanol increased with hydrous ethanol addition. ⺠Hydrous ethanol addition reduced CO and THC emissions. ⺠NOX emissions did not show a direct relation with ethanol addition.
