Abstract
⺠Use of thiourea as an alternative to the classic bitumen modification by polymers. ⺠Bitumen modification by thiourea endows the binder with enhanced resistance to permanent deformation. ⺠It also significantly increases binder flexibility at low temperature by decreasing its glass transition temperature.
