Abstract
⺠Water washing of biodiesel is a very effective process to remove ethanol from ester phase. ⺠LLE data of water systems are important for design and operation of biodiesel purification process. ⺠The ethanol mass fraction in the aqueous phase is much larger than in the ester phase. ⺠Global deviations below 3.1% with CPA EoS. ⺠Transferability of CPA binary parameters to predict LLE of biodiesel systems.
