Abstract
⺠Pistachio shell was pyrolyzed to study parameter effects on product yields. ⺠The most effective parameter was reaction temperature. ⺠Maximum liquid yield was obtained at 500 °C, 30 min and 150 ml minâ1 as 53.36%. ⺠Liquid product was a oxygenated complex mixture with 18 identified compounds. ⺠Solid product was a valuable fuel but wasn't suitable for active carbon applications.
