Abstract
⺠Numerical simulation of filtration combustion in a carbon containing fixed bed. ⺠The model includes carbon oxidation and carbonate decomposition reactions. ⺠Effects of carbon and carbonate variations are studied. ⺠Results are confronted with the experimental work. ⺠A relatively simple reaction model captures the main process physics.
