Abstract
⺠Identifies the role of system responses on NO emissions and smoke concentrations. ⺠On average, biodiesel tends to emit higher NO emissions at studied conditions. ⺠Biodiesel conditions emitting lower NO emissions are due to system responses. ⺠Due to system responses, anticipated emissions do not scale with blend ratio.
