Abstract
⺠Bio-oils from the pyrolysis of various residual biomasses and their fractions were characterized. ⺠Bio-oil composition and physicochemical properties changed positively after thermal treatment. ⺠Most important changes were in phenols and heavy molecular weight compounds, CCR and EHI. ⺠Pine bio-oil resulted most appropriate for co-processing in FCC.
