Abstract
⺠Carbon steel and copper exposed to E20 exhibited susceptibility to corrosion. ⺠Ethanolamine in the E20 mixture as a corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel was effective. ⺠EIS technique is useful to assess the corrosion susceptibility of metals immersed in ethanol blend fuels. ⺠Severe hydrodynamic conditions improve corrosion resistance of copper and tin.
