Abstract
► The DI diesel engine can run by using tire derived fuel (TDF)/diesel fuel blends up to TDF90. ► Increasing TDF fraction in diesel fuel reduces the smoke, CO and HC emissions. ► Also, the NOX emissions show increasing trend. ► The BSEC and the BTE of the TDF fuel blends are similar to diesel fuel.
