Abstract
⺠Evaluate the bioconversion potential of four poplar wood samples to sugar and ethanol. ⺠Found lignin affecting bioconversion the poplars through protecting carbohydrate degradation. ⺠SPORL improved bioconversion of all wood samples and tolerance to feedstock variability.
